Ahoy there mateys, I am your flounder Ghetto Fisherman Ong!
I started fishing casually when i was a kid, making my dad bring us to Bedok Jetty to catch tambans. Instead all we caught were plastic bag fish, and gunny sack fish.
As the years past, I stopped fishing.. I didn't know too many people who did fish, and there weren't any guidance for me to follow. Fast track a couple of years, and here I am. On the internet, wanting to help all you people begin your journey. It Is a wonderful journey. It Is exciting. But there are boring days that come together with the Good days.
Overall I just wanna share my limited experience with you, and hope that we all can catch big fish!
My Current Equips:
$10 rod, $10.80 rod, 2x borrowed reels [1xbraided, 1xmono]. Some random tackle and line.
All of which have served me well.
Highlight Catch:
2kg Kims, 2kg Gao [most recent boat trip], Fan Fish [cant rmb how heavy but we made it to assam curry!]
Want to Catch:
Some solid streamlined Predators, Batang?
Some ridiculous fish.
Wish List:
A new reel.... this one abit too small.. very hard to bring in the grouper.. Next time bigger fish how!!!!
